Ages 3-4. Our creative movement class for the littlest of ballerinas. This is a non-performance class.
Age 5. No previous training necessary. Emphasis on movement and balance, as well as basic ballet steps and combinations.
Ages 6-7. No previous training necessary. Emphasis on basic ballet steps and combinations, while focusing on beginning ballet technique, form, and balance.
Ages 7-10. Beginner with 1-2 years prior training. Emphasis on developing more intermediate ballet steps and combinations, while continuing to focus on technique, form, balance and flexibility.
Ages 11-15. Beginner. 1-2 years prior training recommended. Emphasis on developing more intermediate ballet steps and combinations, while continuing to focus on technique, form, balance and flexibility.
Ages 9 and up. Intermediate with 2-3 years prior training. Classes offered twice per week.
Ages 8-12. Intermediate with 3-4 years prior training. Two classes/week required.
Ages 9 and up. Intermediate with completion of at least one year in Technique 1. Advancement into this class is at the discretion of the instructor. Emphasis on pointe preparation. Two classes/week required.
Ages 11 and up. Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on beginning pointe technique. Must complete at least one year in Technique 2. Advancement into this class is at the discretion of the instructor. Three classes/week required. Classes offered up to five times/week.
Ages 12 and up. Advanced class with emphasis on pointe technique. Three classes/week required. Four classes/week recommended. Classes offered up to five times/week.
Ages 10-15. Basic ballet technique with little or no prior training. This class is not currently offered, but will be added to the schedule once demand is met.
Ages 16 and up. Basic ballet technique with little or no prior training. Emphasis on stretching and strength training. This is a non-performance class.
Black or light pink leotard only for all Ballet classes.
Technique and Pointe classes may wear dark colored leotards.
Light pink tights and pink ballet shoes.
No tutu's or ruffled skirts. Simple chiffon ballet skirts may be worn.
Ballet sweaters and leg warmers may be worn in cooler weather.
Hair must be in a bun.
Black athletic shorts or pants.
Plain, form fitting t-shirt in neutral color (white, black, or gray).
Black ballet shoes.
Adult Ballet Class:
Gym/Yoga attire is acceptable for the Adult Ballet Class. Please no distracting prints or overly bright colors.
Pink or black ballet shoes.
